Nations Trust Bank Launches Nations Home Centre

- Dedicated home loans centre for customer convenience

Nations Trust Bank (NTB) today launched their ultra-modern ‘Nation’s Home Centre’ in a move that is expected to make a significant impact on convenience to the home loans consumer. Given the recent surge in uptake of housing loans, the one-stop shop, Nations Home Centre will considerably streamline and ease the mortgage acquisition process for customers.

The dedicated centre located at Galle Road in Colombo 3, will have a team available who will attend to customers and who could provide advice on a comprehensive array of mortgage and loan solutions for retail customers, to deliver a valuation and credit decision in just 5 days. The portfolio includes home purchase loans, land loans and loans for construction. It is available to all Sri Lankans between the ages of 21 and 50 for up to a maximum of LKR 50 Million.

“We believe that by providing affordable and relevant mortgage solutions that are tailor-made to suit the unique needs of our customers, we will make a significant mark in this industry and ultimately, help more Sri Lankans achieve their dreams of owning their homes,” Nations Trust Bank’s Deputy General Manager, Consumer Banking, Priyantha Talwatte said.

“The opening of Nations Home Centre is overall in line with our strategy of becoming the primary bank for our customers” Talwatte went on to explain. “Housing loan is an essential product in the banking cycle of our customers and a speedy service in this area was identified as a vital need. Hence our offering of a one stop shop that will deliver the services required which is a collaboration of credit, legal processing, disbursement of money and end to end technical services” stated Talwatte on the benefit of a dedicated focal centre.

With the population and urbanization expanding, there is an urgent need for financial institutions to come up with innovative solutions to plug the growing need for housing,” added Talwatte.

Located at Galle Road, Nations Home Centre will host key construction partners such as valuers, architects and quantity surveyors - among others - in a move that is aimed at providing customers with a convenient and hassle free experience.

In the last few years, Nations Trust Bank has embarked on a robust strategy aimed at cementing its position as the ‘Go-To’ bank in Sri Lanka.
