The Nations Trust Bank Chip and PIN Travel Card is a prepaid Card, which comes pre-loaded with US Dollars or Euros which may be purchased from Nations Trust Bank. It is the first card in Sri Lanka to offer both Chip and PIN based security which is a pre-requisite amongst many overseas merchants.

The Nations Trust Bank Chip and PIN USD /EURO Travel card can be loaded through any Nations Trust Bank branch.
The card can be loaded by depositing cash or transferring funds from a Nations Trust Bank account. The prevailing exchange rates will apply.
For the purpose of loading the Card, the Cardholder must be present at the Bank branch. A Travel Card loading form should be submitted along with the return ticket, passport and the visa.
Minimum loading amount is USD 200 / EURO 200 (Service charge of 1% of load/reload value applies).
Eligibility
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Applicants must have a valid passport
Applicants must hold a valid visa at the time of loading funds for the destination country
The loading limit of the travel card will depend on factors such as: Destination country; Duration of travel; Purpose of travel; Other relevant regulatory or bank requirements.
Card approval is subject to bank's selection criteria
