The platform is available to Sri Lankan nationals aged 18 and above, including those residing overseas. For credit card applications, applicants must be between 18 and 70 years of age.
Resident Savings Accounts: Nations Saver, Nations Mega Saver, Nations Salary Saver, Max Bonus Savings Account, Personal Foreign Currency Account.
Non-Resident Accounts: Inward Investment Account (FCY), Personal Foreign Currency Account, Inward Investment Account (LKR), Worker Remittance Savings (LKR).
Credit Cards: American Express Explorer, American Express Platinum, American Express Gold, Master World, Master Platinum

Your NIC details are verified against the Department of Registration of Persons (DRP) system as per Central Bank of Sri Lanka guidelines. If the DRP system is unable to verify your details, the Bank will request you to visit the nearest NTB branch with your supporting documents to complete the process.
An OTP is generated to authenticate the user and mitigate fraudulent activity by validating your registered email address and mobile number.
Video KYC is a verification method that allows the Bank to authenticate your identity in real time through a video call. It incorporates AI-driven face matching, liveness detection, geo-tagging, and document verification, allowing you to complete the process from any location without visiting a

No. A branch visit is not required if you select Video KYC. However, if your NIC details cannot be verified through the DRP system, the Bank will request a branch visit to complete verification.
Yes. Application status can be tracked through the customer portal, where the progress and timelines of your application are displayed.
Yes. Multiple accounts can be selected within a single application. After submitting one application, additional eligible products can also be browsed and applied for through the customer portal.
Yes. Incomplete applications can be resumed by selecting the "Edit Application" login mode on the
platform's home page and continuing from where you left off.
No. The platform currently supports individual account opening only.
No. Account opening through the platform requires a valid NIC. Accounts cannot be opened using alternative identification documents.
Yes. An NIC copy must be uploaded as part of the application process.
There are no charges associated with opening an account through the platform.
You can fund the account by transferring money digitally, depositing cash through an NTB Cash Deposit Machine, or through the NTB branch network.
