Job Profile
  • Plan and execute activities to evaluate internal controls design and operating effectiveness of key business and IT process of the bank through process walkthroughs and testing
  • Conduct IT general controls and business process controls reviews over the in-scope systems and processes.
  • Perform special reviews on regulatory compliance, systems implementations (pre/post), application security, cyber security, disaster recovery  ..etc
  • Liaise with stakeholders, lead discussions, planning and closing meetings and executing field work
  • Prepare process narratives, Risk and control metrices, test of controls documentation and prepare audit reports by articulating the deficiencies, risks and recommendations with minimum supervision by the reviewer  
  • Perform reviews in accordance with department and professional standards, complete the engagements with an efficient manner
  • Build strong relationship with 1st and 2nd lines of defence to identify potential red flags and collaborate with internal audit management, communication status, issues and challenges
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving industry and regulatory changes impacting the bank’s technology environment and assist in preparing annual risk-based technology audit plan
  • Participate in key digital initiatives of the bank to proactively identify risks and advice on risks mitigation actions
  • Support development of continuous auditing initiatives using data analytics tools

 

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT audits, IT security, technology risks management
  • Degree in computer science, information systems or its equivalent and having professional qualification(s) (CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 LA) are highly preferred
  • Clear understanding of risks, internal controls and the ability to evaluate & determine adequacy, effectiveness of controls
  • Analytical skills to understand complex processes and procedures
  • Experience in the usage of data analytics in the reviews would be an added advantage
  • Able to deliver quality and thorough work, with attention to details  
  • Team player and good interpersonal skills 
  • Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills ty, preferably in a hotel or a restaurant 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
