Business Manager - Corporate Banking

Job Profile

• Research and provide market analysis information – Market Research and Competitor Analysis
• Maintain Corporate Banking related portfolio data and information, for critical decision making of the management
• Coordinating with external agencies, such as external auditors, government and other authorities
• Use data centric approach, MI and analyze trends for decision making, provide inputs for business teams and prepare presentations
• Collaborate with finance, analytics, cross portfolio teams & cross functional support teams for strategic initiatives, special projects etc
• Support Head of Corporate Banking in Strategy and Budgeting process
• Analyze credit proposals covering financial/ market/industrial/economic/other related aspects and prepare reports

Special Skills

• Strong financial analysis skills and understanding in market trends, financial markets, economics etc
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation and strong networking skills

Experience & Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in a Bank /Financial institution with hands on experience in business analysis or portfolio analysis roles
• Degree/Professional qualification (full or part) in Banking/Finance (eg ACMA/ACCA/CFA). A full or part qualification in a numerate subject such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics/ Mathematics or a related professional qualification will be an added advantage
