The Southern Nations Trust Eliyakanda Hill Climb and Beach Motor Cross 2009, is set to take place on 14 & 15 March at the Mathara Kotuwegoda Beach and in Eliyakanda – more popularly known as Browns Hill.

This marks the second time Nations Trust Bank will be sponsoring this event. The event comprises of 16 Motor cycle events and 19 motor car/jeep events. Commencing on Saturday 14 March at 2pm at the Matara Kotuwegoda Beach, the competition will see experts trying their luck to win the coveted trophy.

Racing experts can flex their muscles at the event considered to be one of the most challenging and competitive hill climbs in the country. Nations Trust Bank has a significant presence in Galle and Matara and the Bank’s sponsorship of this event is certain to be of importance to their customers in the region.
