Nations Trust Bank conducts Career Guidance Programme in Jaffna
A Career Guidance workshop was conducted for students at the University of Jaffna prior to the opening of the banks 40th branch. The workshop was conducted by the Human Resources of Nations Trust Bank in Tamil and English for the benefit of all the participants. A number of students from the university attended this program which was conducted free of charge.
Commenting on this event, Ramanika Unamboowe Head of Human Resources at Nations Trust Bank PLC said, “Nations Trust Bank has conducted many of these workshops in the North & East markets where we have expanded our services and Jaffna is no exception. Through this effort we hope to facilitate the youth to better acquaint themselves with information and techniques that will facilitate them in their career. As we will see economic development in the Northern Province we are determined to assist develop the knowledge base of the people of this province so that they could contribute to the development of our country.” The Career guidance workshop focused on various aspects such as how to select the right career, to write a resume, the do’s and don’ts that need to be followed at an interview, etiquette and grooming, language, posture and a host of tips and useful practical advice that will be of immense value to the future leaders of our country.
