This project is a
joint effort of the Bank with the Wildlife Conservation
Society of Galle, which is centric to the Hiyare
Rainforest (a scenic 600-acre rainforest), which
is a home to several endemic and rare species of
fauna and flora.

Extending the assistance
annually given to the Cancer Hospital, Maharagama,
the Bank looks forward to undertake a substantial
refurbishment of the Cancer Hospital Ward 19, which
is currently in a dilapidated state.
