Job Profile

  • Identify, recommend and manage CSR projects in keeping with the approved CSR strategy of the Bank
  • Recommend organizational and policy changes required to advance sustainability initiatives by carrying out a gap analysis on the existing framework and thereafter through periodic review of efficacy and relevance
  • Periodically report to the CSR committee and the Board of Directors through the Company Secretary the progress in achieving industry benchmarks set under global sustainability indexes
  • Propose strategies to make the Bank a greener workplace
  • Co-ordinating with relevant departments to ensure that all policies impacting sustainability are kept up to date with industry best practices
  • Provide feedback on existing practices and how day to day activities can be aligned to the sustainable strategy of the Bank
  • Organize awareness programmes and programmes to promote involvement of staff in sustainability initiatives
  • Communicate and market sustainability campaigns to internal and external stakeholders


  • Minimum of 7 years experience out of which 2 years as an Assistant Manager with exposure in managing CSR projects
  • Full / part qualification in Banking / CIMA/CIM/ACCA/ACA or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability
  • Knowledge of sustainability theories and best practices in the field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Budgeting & Planning

Pre requisites

  • Two years experience in Sales or Marketing
  • An academic record that includes G.C.E ‘O’ level and G.C.E ‘A’ level examinations
  • Impressive communication and customer service skills
  • An outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict monthly targets
